White Lies have announced that their new album will be called ‘Ritual’ and that it will be released on Jan. 17, 2011. The long-awaited follow-up to 2009’s No. 1 album ‘To Lose My Life… has been produced by former Depeche Mode colaborator Alan Moulder in London and will be available in a 7-inch single box set as well as vinyl and CD editions.

“The album is a lot about religion and a lot about love and they’re two subjects which the idea of ritual fits very nicely into,” singer Harry McVeigh radio station XFM. “It seemed to be a theme that was recurring through the whole album when we were thinking about giving it a title.”
