Wendy Dio

Ronnie James Dio’s widow Wendy Dio is one selfless dame, and we mean that in the most endearing way possible. Heaven & Hell can no longer exist in their natural state after Ronnie’s death from stomach cancer, but Wendy told VH1 Radio that she supports and encourages the remaining members — who made up the core of Black Sabbath — working together again under a different moniker.

“I don’t know what they’re doing right now. I know that Geezer [Butler]’s been asked several times, and he’s just … he took it very hard,” Wendy said. “I don’t really know what they’re doing right now. They should do something else, with Vinny [Appice], too. I mean, the band was amazing, an amazing band and they should carry on to do something. It won’t be called Heaven & Hell but whatever they call it, it will be great, it will be amazing.”
