Germany is a long way from California, or so Wavves frontman and San Diego resident Nathan Williams found out this week, when he was arrested — and jailed — for possession of marijuana. While being thrown in the slammer on foreign soil is no laughing matter, Williams certainly found some humor in it, at least.
“Arrested in Germany by a guy w/ a Metallica patch on his Polizei jacket,” Williams tweeted on Friday. “Out on bail fresh out of jail Munich dreamin’ #ridethelightning.”
