Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi and Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain are teaming up with Deep Purple singer Ian Gillan and keyboardist Jon Lord to record a brand new song to help raise money to rebuild an Armenian music school.
The genesis of the song lies in the time Iommi and Gillan were part of a group of musicians that re-recorded Deep Purple’s ‘Smoke on the Water’ in 1989. The song was redone in effort to help those affected by an earthquake in Armenia the year prior.
