The best single CD of 50s Rock, and 25 songs too! Well worth the price.

All songs are original hits by original artists.

Of 55 CDs of 1950s songs that I own, this is easily the best.

1/4/06 Update: Whoever put this collection together did more than simply pick songs based on sales charts, because two of my personal favorites that didn’t chart very high (”Love Potion No. 9″ and “Shout”) are included.

I purchased this CD for a fall get-together of a fun, energetic group of my husband’s high school classmates (class of ‘57). As they all turned 70 years of age this year, I thought a group birthday party/BBQ would be fun. The CD was perfect. I noticed them all singing along at various times during the evening. I think there might have been a little dancing, too. I am totally satisfied with this CD.
