The Midnight Ramble Music Sessions, Vol. 1

We are blessed here in the northeast. Almost every Saturday night we can go to Levon Helm’s house & hear some of the greatest live music around. That’s right, Levon Helm’s (you might remember he was in a lil group called The Band) house is open to the public for his Midnight Ramble. You never know who’s gonna show up either. On this particular night, little known harmonica player Little Sammy Davis appeared at the Ramble. Sammy escaped from Mississippi when he was about 13 years old & never looked back, working for a time with Earl Hooker. He fell out of the music scene for a while, no doubt to make some $$$ and support his family & we are again blessed when he decided to make upstate New York his home. Well folks now you can enjoy Levon’s Midnight Ramble w/ special guest Little Sammy Davis in the comfort of your own home.
