The Fall Channelling ‘Greek Heavy Metal’ on New Album

We’re used to a plethora of odd genres being devised to pigeonhole a band’s sound, but it seems like the oft-ignored genre of Greek heavy metal is set to hit new levels of notoriety after Mark E. Smith [pictured] revealed the Fall are channelling the sound on their new album.

The Manchester band, who released their last album, ‘Your Future Our Clutter,’ in April this year, are working on their next release — and it’s said to be veering off in a new “Greek heavy metal” direction, reports the Quietus.
