Spend It All

I first learned about Bow Thayer because one of my all-time favorite musicians; Levon Helm plays drums on this album. I then discovered that Thayer lives just a few miles down the road from me here in Vermont. Consequently I’ve seen him live four times now, once at Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble (a wonderful event - look it up) in Woodstock, NY. All you have to do is listen to Thayer’s lyrics once, and that combined with his fantstic guitar work will have you hooked. This guy ROCKS, and this is one of those albums that you like more with each listen. For a year this was the only CD in my car stereo and I listened to it every time I got in the car. My favorite is Snake Bite, but I honestly must say there is not a bad track on this CD, not even close! Listen to the stories Thayer tells and listen to the great music that accompanies them and you will be hooked. The beauty of it is, you don’t have to Spent it All to enjoy this fantastic music, just ten bucks, and you will be glad you did!!!
