Rock ‘n’ Roll Years

This is a great album full of Cliff’s early rock n roll hits. The sound is soft and driving. I know, an unusual combination but one that Cliff is particularly good at. Included is the original demo of “Lawdy Miss Clawdy” made by Cliff at a local record store. He never sounded more like Elvis then he did on that cut. Also deserving special attention is a fantastic cut of “20 Flight Rock”. If you only discovered Cliff in the last 40 years and missed out on the early rock then this will add a brand new dimension to him for you. These are his first hits done they way he first recorded them. In most cases very different then the way he performs them today. He truly was a large presence at the beginning of rock n roll
