Seems like Phil Spector is having about as much fun in prison as ex-wife Ronnie had in her relationship with him. The disgraced production genius — who was jailed in 2009 for murdering actress Lana Clarkson — has allegedly been assaulted in the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison in Corcoran, Calif., where he is serving a 19-years-to-life sentence.
According to a friend Steven Escobar, Spector suffered a black eye, a bruised nose and the lost two dental caps after an altercation with a fellow convict. “Phil has quite a mouth on him,” Escobar told the New York Daily News. “Not everyone understands his humour. He said the wrong thing to the wrong inmate in the yard.”
