Muse Reveal Stage Laser Show Dangers

Pink Floyd never had to worry about anything like this. Muse are apparently finding that bringing prog rock into the 21st century isn’t without its dangers, the Sun reports. According to drummer Dominic Howard, the Devon trio recently did a little in-gig experimentation and discovered that their laser-powered intergalactic stage extravaganza is a potential death trap.

“We got some big white balloons, threw them into the audience and decided to focus the lasers on them,” Howard explained. “It was like a slow burn that gradually disintegrated them into nothing. We all thought, ‘What the hell will our corneas be like in 20 years?’”
