London folk-rock set Mumford and Sons have announced details of their next attempt to crack America, with the band scheduled to tour the US and Canada this May.
The tour begins in Montreal on May. 13 and concludes in Kansas on Jun. 16, and is in promotion of their album ‘Sigh No More,’ released in America on Feb. 16. Mumford and Sons also enjoyed exposure on US television in February with appearances on ‘The Late Show With David Letterman’ and ‘The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson.’
The four-piece embark on a UK tour this week, while the band have also released a compilation album through the club night they founded, ‘The Communion.’ The record features songs from Mumford and Sons’ Marcus Mumford, Johnny Flynn, Jeremy Warmsley, Jay Jay Pistolet and Alessi’s Ark.
