Maserati

Georgia-based post-rockers Maserati recently completed a 10-date tour for their new album, ‘Pyramid of the Sun,’ and it’s safe to say that the band is relieved to get the jaunt out of the way. This is the tour they were dreading, as it’s their first without drummer Jerry Fuchs, who passed away just over a year ago.

“I’m looking forward to getting that over with,” guitarist Matt Cherry told Spinner the week the tour began in Arlington, Va. “I kinda want to just f— up on the first song to get it out of the way,” he said, clearly wanting to vent his sadness and anger via his guitar. “It’s definitely something I’ve thought a lot about. It’s kind of daunting, but I think it’s going to be fun.”
