Earlier this month, Leonard Cohen announced the “final four” shows of his triumphant comeback tour — a journey which took him around the world, several times, over the course of two and a half years. But there’s been a slight shakeup for the final stretch: a Dec. 4 show planned for Honolulu, Hawaii has been cancelled. According to a statement issued to the press, the cancellation is “due to prohibitive and insurmountable logistical issues.”
Now for the good news: Cohen decided to make up for it by scheduling three shows in its place. A Dec. 2 show has been added at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, while Cohen will return to the elegant Paramount Theatre in Oakland, Calif. for a two-night stand beginning Dec. 5. Tickets go on sale to the public on Oct. 9 and Oct. 10, respectively.
