LCD Soundsystem endured one of the perils performing in front of festival audiences as they took on bottle throwers this weekend at the Wireless Festival.

The band — who saw out the Saturday night of the Hyde Park festival — were bottled by the crowd, with frontman James Murphy threatening to kick the fan’s face in, reports NME.

Half way through their set, they halted proceedings to speak to the deviants in the crowd.

Murphy said, “Hey anonymous asshole throwing stuff, do that to my face and I’ll kick your face in. And then I’ll pay for your medical bill.”
