What’s your definition of a club gig? A tightly-packed venue of say, 400 other souls so excited that the sweat actually drips from the ceiling and onto your head? Or maybe you’d consider a show at a 1,300-capacity venue to be a club gig if superclubs were the only ones that you go out dancing to?

One band’s intimate venue is another’s career peak, it seems. Keane are to punctuate their summer UK forest tour with a series of club dates at London’s Roundhouse, Birmingham’s Academy, Barrowlands in Glasgow and the Olympia in Dublin.
