I didn’t like this song when I first heard it. However, the more I listened to it, the more I saw that it was a really great song. The beats on this song are excellent, and it is a great showcase for the newest member of the group, Fergie. Her “off the Richter” part of the song is one of the best hooks on any single this year. I get it stuck in my head all the time and I never complain because it is one of my favorite songs. It’s no wonder this song was such a big hit.
If you don’t want to pay this much money for a single, I think this version of “Hey Mama” will be on the upcoming Now CD (15? 16? It’s hard to keep track). Whichever one you buy, either way you will be getting the version of “Hey Mama” you love, so you can’t lose.
Hey Mama 2 is the best single ever!!! I listen to it 24/7! The edited version is awesome and so is the video one! Even though it’s expensive for a single it is very good. The versions are all great as well.
