The Scorpions, the German rock band whose career has spanned four decades, have announced they are parting ways. In an announcement on its website Sunday, the band, known for hits including 1984’s ‘Rock You Like A Hurricane” and 1990’s ‘Winds Of Change,’ writes that “we want to end the Scorpions’ extraordinary career on a high note. This is why, especially now, we agree we have reached the end of the road.”

The band, which will embark on an international tour this spring, added that, “We finish our career with an album we consider to be one of the best we have ever recorded and with a tour that will start in our home country Germany and take us to five different continents,” beginning with a London show in March.
