Control Denied - The Fragile Art of Existence

Chuck Schuldiner continues to enjoy a metallic legacy even in death. While most known for screaming bloody gore as the frontman for Death, Schuldiner’s Control Denied will have their first album reissued with deluxe treatment through Relapse this fall. ‘The Fragile Art of Existence’ was originally released in 1999, before Schuldiner — who only played guitar in the band — was diagnosed with a brain stem tumor that eventually claimed his life.

The reissue is remastered and repackaged, with liner notes from Richard Christy, as he drummed on the record initially, before moving beyond the metal pastures to work on with Howard Stern.
