Bruce Springsteen has always been a champion of the common people, and he proved that recently by giving a New Jersey couple one heck of a memory. As the Asbury Park Press reports, Brick Township residents Ed Dwyer and Jennifer Smith were minding their own business during their engagement photo shoot on Masaquan Beach when the rocker made a surprise appearance in their pictures.
With guitar in hand, Dwyer was casually strumming it down the boardwalk when Springsteen called out to him, “Play that box.” Dwyer did the right thing and turned it over to Springsteen.
