Bloc Party’s Kele Okereke is set to make one of his first solo appearances in Ibiza this summer in a line-up that also boasts Florence and the Machine.
Ibiza Rocks’ line up this year features the Prodigy, Dizzee Rascal, the Courteeners, Delphic and the Kooks. Brits winner Florence plays Aug. 24, with the Bloc Party frontman headlining with Delphic as support a week later.
This year marks the Tuesday night party’s fifth anniversary, with gigs taking place weekly from June 8 to Sept. 14 at the event’s permanent venue, the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, which opened two years ago. Rascal said, “Can’t wait to play Ibiza Rocks again this year. It was one of my best shows of 2009. It went off big time.”
