The Black Eyed Peas took to the main stage at San Francisco’s Outside Lands on Saturday, right before Dave Matthew Band, to treat their festival gig like any other. When they came on stage with the topical, if obvious, opener of ‘Let’s Get It Started,’ Will.I.Am appeared to accidentally say what up to San Jose — an hour south of San Francisco. Fergie quickly corrected him and from there he continued to make up for the blunder by first giving shout-outs to all the surrounding communities — Oakland, Marin, Richmond and so on — and then later talking about all the things he loves about San Francisco … including, oddly, “the internet.”

Shortly thereafter, Fergie contributed by talking about her favorite thing the city has to offer: food. “I love to eat,” she said. “And there’s lots of good food in San Francisco.” True enough. The Black Eyed Peas then launched into ‘Lady Humps,’ dedicated, of course, “to all the women with curves in their body.”
