This is a terrific collection–starts with a few well-known tunes by famous surfer-types like Beach Boys, Dick Dale, Duane Eddy and the Ventures, but quickly moves into an incredible array of lesser-known one-hit wonders, all of which are just fabulous, like The Astronauts, Laika & The Cosmonauts, Jordan Ingmann, the Chantays, the Vanduras, etc et al. Of course, it helps if you like this kind of music. If you do, this is a great collection–I bought it at Starbucks after taking one look at the track list.
Excellent collect of classic Guitar Instrumental Surf! CD includes liner notes for each track with lots of trivia and back ground info on the Artists and sometimes includes what inspired the writing of the music!
