I can’t say enough about this CD. Our school encourages daily exercise and Bean Bag Rock in Roll is always requested in my classroom. My third grade students absolutely love it! Each song is so upbeat…you just can’t help but move to the rhythm of the music. It’s a great way to encourage children of all ages to get up and get moving! I highly recommend purchasing this CD!
This CD is terrible. I would have given 0 stars if I could. The tracks are way too slow to encourage any movement at all. The arrangements are horribly cheesy and very one-note. The singer speaks the directions over the song to “put the bean bag on your head” etc. The movements lack creativity and most do not even relate to the song - even preschoolers will be bored with this CD. I teach preschool and pre-k music and I got rid of this CD as soon as I listened to it - I highly doubt many children could enjoy this CD. There are so many better options for quality Children’s Music out there. I recommend Hap Palmer for the preschool age and even on up to first graders love his music - a wonderful CD is Rhythms on Parade for teaching rhythm and music to young children. I am the kind of person that enjoys listening to children’s music like Raffi and Hap but this CD was pretty unbearable to listen to - it is totally uninteresting and not creative. I would not recommend this CD for anything - it is not fun, not good to listen to, and I do not believe children will get much out of it. Boring.
