It would appear that Amy Winehouse’s four-year musical hiatus is coming to an end with reports surfacing that the ‘Rehab’ singer is not only working and recording with producer Mark Ronson — the knob-twiddler behind the hugely successful ‘Back to Black’ album — but that she’s bought her own studio.
According to a report in The Sun, the once-troubled singer — notorious for tales of drug and alcohol abuse — has bought a recording studio opposite Pentonville Prison in North London and dubbed it “The Slammer.” Readers may well remember Pentonville Prison as being a one-time — ahem — residence of Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty, himself no stranger to excessive living.
