Less than a week before the highly-anticipated release of ‘Michael’ — Michael Jackson’s first posthumous album — producer Teddy Riley says there’s plenty more where that came from. “I look forward to doing the next one and I’m glad I’m on board,” Riley told BBC Newsbeat on Thursday.
Riley produced three of the tracks on the upcoming ‘Michael’ album — a release that has been mired in controversy amidst accusation from members of Jackson’s immediate family that the vocals are not authentic. Others, meanwhile, have spoken out about the very idea of releasing material that Jackson may have felt wasn’t ready for public consumption. Black Eyed Peas‘ will.i.am — who collaborated with Jackson — even told the Associated Press that he thinks releasing the album is “disrespectful.”
